The Widows Sons, Appendant Body, of the Grand Lodge of Louisiana has purchased full and legal ownership of USPTO Trademark No. 4848846. The Trademark® is the legal image/emblem/patch, a Federal registered Trademark defended in court, worn by members of Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association worldwide.

Our Mission

Widows Sons Louisiana – Masonic Riders Association was organized under the permission of the Grand Lodge of the State of Louisiana in the year 2015. Our organization is incorporated in the state of Louisiana as a Non-Profit Organization and registered as a 501(c)(3) Private Foundation since 2017. In March of 2022, our Widows Sons Organization became an Appendant Body of the Grand Lodge of the State of Louisiana F&AM.

We are a Masonic Riders Association that supports the Masonic Lodges in the State of Louisiana, holds charitable events to support Masonic Charities, and promotes Masonry throughout the Fraternity while riding motorcycles.

Our Values

Every Widows Sons is a Freemason in good standing with a current dues card. We are Freemasons First and Widows Sons Second!

The Three Grand Principles (Tenets)

  • Brotherly Love: Practicing tolerance, compassion, and respect, and viewing all humanity as one family regardless of background.
  • Relief: Giving aid, comfort, and charity to those in distress, including widows, orphans, and fellow Masons.
  • Truth: A lifelong pursuit of wisdom, intellectual enlightenment, knowledge, and personal integrity.

The Four Cardinal Virtues

Masons are taught to practice these virtues as a guide for daily conduct:

  • Temperance: Practicing moderation, restraint, and self-discipline.
  • Fortitude: Demonstrating mental and moral strength to withstand hardship and uphold one’s values.
  • Prudence: Exercising good judgment, careful planning, and wisdom.
  • Justice: Treating all individuals fairly, rendering what is due to every person, and acting with honor.

Membership in the Widows Sons Organization in the State of Louisiana is open to any Master Mason in good standing who holds a valid Louisiana Dues Card, rides a motorcycle and desires to help build an organization that both supports and promotes Masonry.
